LEICA LENS - Superior lens quality

The LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens has been specially created for the DC-FZ1000II camera. It features a bright F2.8-4.0 lens for sharp images throughout the zoom range and an angle of view ranging from 25mm wide-angle to 400mm telephoto with 16x optical zoom. The maximum focus value has been further extended to F11 for still images. Panasonic's advanced optical technology also offers sharp focusing effects and beautiful blur. This single lens expands your photographic skills considerably.

Large 1" 20.1 megapixel sensor

The FZ1000II captures sharp, clear images with minimal noise even when shooting at ISO 12800 sensitivity thanks to the newly incorporated 1" high-sensitivity MOS sensor. Thanks to its large size, the sensor processes a large amount of light and allows for stunning out-of-focus shots.

4K PHOTO - Compose your perfect sequence

Capture magical moments in 8 megapixel-equivalent resolution from 4K video footage. Select from three different 4K Photo modes and benefit from the new built-in Composite Sequence function that lets you stitch individual frames together into a composite JPGE image. The tagging function is also available.

Perfect vision and manual control

The FZ1000II features a 2360K-dot OLED LVF (Live View Finder) viewfinder that ensures stable framing and excellent visibility even at high magnification of 0.74x (35mm camera equivalent) and in strong sunlight. A 1240K-dot free-angle LCD touchscreen also allows intuitive fingertip control, and the three newly added function buttons offer easy access. Thanks to two dials on the front and rear, you can manually set parameters such as aperture and shutter speed.

Rear focus - First, shoot. Then focus.

Panasonic's 4K technology gives you the amazing ability to refocus an image even after you've captured it. Select the area in focus after shooting with the Rear Focus function. The new Focus Stacking function we've added allows you to easily select multiple focus points in the same image.
