LAOWA 20/4 ZERO-D SHIFT P/NIKON Z
Combining an exceptionally wide angle of view with the ability to correct perspective distortion, the Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift from Venus Optics is an ideal lens for architectural and interior photography.
Offered here on a Nikon Z mount, the lens's wide 94.4° angle of view is complemented by an impressive +/- 11mm shift range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. Furthermore, as part of the Zero-D lens series, this lens also reproduces scenes with a high degree of precision and very low distortion.
As for the optics, two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are featured, which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for great sharpness and clarity. A water-repellent "frog eye" coating also protects the front lens element from water droplets and moisture. The lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects up to 9.8" away and has a 14-blade diaphragm to produce smooth, circular bokeh as well as specular highlights when stopping down and shooting light sources. punctual.
- Ultra-wide lens designed for full-frame Nikon Z cameras, but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 32mm equivalent focal length.
- As part of the Zero-D series, this lens has an optical design that renders subjects with minimal distortion to suit architectural, interior, and landscape applications.
- Built-in +/- 11mm offset adjustment helps correct perspective distortion and eliminate keystone distortion.
- Large image circle easily covers full-frame sensors without vignetting. In addition, this lens can also be adapted to select medium format mirrorless cameras, where up to +/- 8mm shift is available.
- Two aspherical elements limit spherical aberrations and distortion to improve sharpness and accurate rendering.
- Three extra-low dispersion elements reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for greater clarity and color neutrality.
- The manual focus design and a minimum focus distance of 9.8" suit working with close-up subjects.
- The fourteen-blade diaphragm creates smooth, circular bokeh as well as specular highlights when stopping down and shooting point light sources.
- The 360° rotating hood prevents unwanted lens flare and washed-out images and allows you to adjust the angle of the hood to avoid blocking the image during extreme changes in composition.
- Water resistant "frog eye" coating protects the front lens element from water droplets and moisture.
- Compatible with optional shift lens mount for more balanced mounting and to better enable lens use for shift-type stitched panorama shots without parallax error.
