El SB-500 es compatible con el Sistema de Iluminación Creativa de Nikon y, además, permite el control inalámbrico de varios flashes.
Flash i-TTL compacto: compatible con las cámaras DSLR de formatos FX y DX, las cámaras COOLPIX equipadas con zapata con contactos y el Sistema de Iluminación Creativa de Nikon.
