El Olympus M.Zuiko  ED 8-25/4 PRO te brinda la posibilidad de pasar de gran angular a zoom estándar ofreciéndote una versatilidad y una calidad de imagen en todo el rango focal.

Su sofisticado diseño óptico, que incluye una variedad de elementos asféricos, de baja dispersión y de alto índice de refracción, reduce las aberraciones cromáticas y esféricas en todo el rango del zoom para lograr una claridad, nitidez y precisión de color notables. También se ha aplicado un recubrimiento de lente CERO para mejorar el contraste cuando se trabaja en condiciones de iluminación intensa. Más allá del diseño avanzado de la lente, este zoom también se caracteriza por su apertura máxima constante f / 4, así como su construcción duradera sellada para trabajar en una variedad de condiciones.

Además, un sistema de enfoque automático compatible con películas y fotografías logra un rendimiento de enfoque rápido y silencioso, y un embrague de enfoque manual permite cambiar instantáneamente entre los métodos de enfoque. La estabilización de imagen óptica VCM (motor de bobina de voz) minimiza la apariencia de movimiento de la cámara para un funcionamiento estable de la computadora de mano.

Este objetivo supone una nueva incorporación dentro de la gama PRO y se suma a los llamados Micro Four Thirds, cubriendo un rango focal que va desde fotografía superangular de 16 mm hasta la fotografía estándar de 50 mm con una apertura F4.0 y un rendimiento profesional en todo el alcance del zoom. Compacto y ligero,  ofrece una excelente calidad de imagen por la que son conocidos los objetivos de la serie M.Zuiko PRO proporcionando a los fotógrafos la versatilidad que necesitan para capturar imágenes desde paisajes superangulares hasta fotografías con un campo de visión natural al ojo. Además, cuenta con una estructura metálica resistente a condiciones meteorológicas adversas que permiten disfrutar de un disparo sencillo en cualquier situación.

Objetivo zoom superangular compacto y ligero
Este objetivo cubre una amplia gama de escenarios, desde fotografía gran angular de 16 mm hasta 50 mm con una magnificación zoom 3,1x para fotografiar en distancias focales estándar. Es el primer objetivo de la serie M.Zuiko PRO que presenta un mecanismo retráctil para conseguir un tamaño realmente compacto y ligero. 

Excelente rendimiento óptico en todo el alcance del zoom
Nuestro cuidado por el rendimiento óptico en este caso tuvo como resultado la utilización de 16 elementos configurados en 10 grupos de lentes que incluyen lentes especiales como las Super ED, ED o EDA. El diseño óptico de este objetivo permite una supresión eficaz de diferentes aberraciones como las cromáticas en todo el alcance del zoom. De esta forma, los objetivos M.Zuiko PRO consiguen unas imágenes realmente nítidas y de alta resolución. También se ha incluido específicamente una lente DSA para reducir la aberración cromática sagital.

Disfruta de la fotografía macro con una magnificación máxima de 0,42x* y un rendimiento similar al de un objetivo macro. Su distancia mínima de enfoque es de 0,23 metros en todo el rango focal, permitiendo ajustar el rango de zoom por medio del anillo del M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25 mm F4.0 PRO.

Resistencia al polvo, a las salpicaduras y a la congelación
El M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO es resistente al polvo y a las salpicaduras con una protección equivalente a IPX1 y resiste la congelación hasta -10°C para conseguir el nivel de fiabilidad superior de la serie M.Zuiko PRO. El revestimiento de flúor utilizado en la lente frontal permite limpiarla con facilidad. Por otra parte, el diseño óptico del elemento frontal del M.ZUIKO Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO permite acoplar filtros aunque ofrece un rendimiento equivalente a un superangular de 16 mm. Al permitir acoplar filtros Polarizadores (PL) o de Densidad Neutral (ND) con un diámetro de 72 mm se consigue una mayor versatilidad en la expresión fotográfica. El mecanismo de enfoque manual ofrece cambiar instantáneamente entre el enfoque automático y manual, mientras que su botón L-Fn (función de objetivo) situado en el lateral del objetivo permite a sus usuarios cambiar los ajustes con un simple movimiento con su pulgar mientras tienen la cámara en sus manos.

The Olympus M.Zuiko ED 8-25/4 PRO gives you the ability to go from wide-angle to standard zoom, offering versatility and image quality across the entire focal range.

Its sophisticated optical design, which includes a variety of aspherical, low dispersion and high refractive index elements, reduces chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range for remarkable clarity, sharpness and colour accuracy. A ZERO lens coating has also been applied to enhance contrast when working in brightly lit conditions. Beyond the advanced lens design, this zoom also features a constant f/4 maximum aperture, as well as durable sealed construction for working in a variety of conditions.

In addition, a movie- and stills-compatible autofocus system achieves fast, quiet focusing performance, and a manual focus clutch allows instant switching between focusing methods. VCM (Voice Coil Motor) optical image stabilisation minimises the appearance of camera shake for stable handheld operation.

This lens is a new addition to the PRO range and joins the Micro Four Thirds range, covering a focal range from 16mm super wide angle to 50mm standard photography with an F4.0 aperture and professional performance throughout the zoom range. Compact and lightweight, it delivers the excellent image quality for which the M.Zuiko PRO series lenses are known, giving photographers the versatility they need to capture images from super-wide-angle landscapes to natural-to-the-eye field-of-view photography. It also features a weather-resistant metal body for easy shooting in any situation.

Compact and lightweight super wide-angle zoom lens

This lens covers a wide range of scenarios, from 16mm wide-angle shooting to 50mm with 3.1x zoom magnification for shooting at standard focal lengths. It is the first lens in the M.Zuiko PRO series to feature a retracting mechanism for a truly compact and lightweight size.

Excellent optical performance throughout the zoom range

Our attention to optical performance in this case resulted in the use of 16 elements configured in 10 lens groups including special lenses such as Super ED, ED or EDA. The optical design of this lens enables effective suppression of various aberrations such as chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range. In this way, the M.Zuiko PRO lenses achieve really sharp, high-resolution images. A DSA lens has also been specifically included to reduce sagittal chromatic aberration.

The M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO is dust and splash resistant with protection equivalent to IPX1 and freeze resistant down to -10°C for the superior reliability of the M.Zuiko PRO series. The fluorine coating used on the front lens makes it easy to clean. Moreover, the optical design of the M.ZUIKO Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO's front element allows filters to be attached while still offering the equivalent performance of a 16mm super wide angle. By allowing the attachment of Polarizing (PL) or Neutral Density (ND) filters with a diameter of 72mm, greater versatility in photographic expression is achieved. The manual focus mechanism offers instant switching between auto and manual focus, while its L-Fn (lens function) button on the side of the lens allows users to change settings with a simple thumb movement while holding the camera in their hands.
