El Blimp de RODE es un antiviento y un sistema de suspensión para los micrófonos NTG1, NTG2 i NTG3, así como para cualquier micrófono de cañón de menos de 325mm de longitud. Usando el sistema de suspensión de Rycote Lyre, el Blimp ofrece lo último en suspensión y aislamiento. The RODE Blimp is a windshield and suspension system for the NTG1, NTG2 and NTG3 microphones, as well as any shotgun microphone under 325mm in length. Using the Rycote Lyre suspension system, the Blimp offers the ultimate in suspension and isolation. Constructed from a single piece of tough thermoplastic, the Lyre gives superior acoustic suspension to traditional elastic solutions, making it much more rugged. The Blimp's handle has also been completely redesigned, significantly reducing its weight while improving its ergonomics for handheld use. With the lightweight handle design and suspension system the new Blimp is 25% lighter (550g only). The Blimp attaches to any pole thanks to its threaded base.
