Combining an exceptionally wide field of view with the ability to correct perspective distortion, the Canon Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift with RF Mount from Venus Optics is an ideal lens for architecture and interior applications.

The wide 110° viewing angle is complemented by an impressive +/- 11mm shift range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. This scroll control is further complemented by a 360° rotation mechanism that applies movements in multiple directions to suit both landscape and portrait orientations. Additionally, as part of the Zero-D series of lenses, this 15mm f/4.5 also renders scenes with a high degree of precision and very low distortion.

As for the optics, two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are featured, which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for great sharpness and clarity. An anti-reflective coating also helps control flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color reproduction. The lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects up to 7.9" away and has a five-blade diaphragm to produce 10 distinctly pointed sun stars.
